The Group’s flagship company specializes and focuses on infrastructure contracting activities namely rail signalling & telecommunication works, green field and brown field rail tracks, irrigation and aviation projects. The company has accumulated extensive experience of executing contracts for the construction of signals and telecommunications work for the Indian Railways for the last 3 decades, executed and commissioned signaling systems for more than 150 railway stations, executed more than 120 Panel Interlocking Projects (including Route Relay Interlocking projects), 30 block sections of Intermediary Block Signaling IBS, 10 block sections of Automatic Signaling, 10 block sections of Audio Frequency Track Circuits projects, 25 stations of Electro Mechanical Signaling and Cable and OFC works.

Landmark projects executed by VRN INFRA STRUCTURES include

The Bogibeel Bridge – India’s longest Rail cum-road steel bridge at 4.94 KM without bolts and nuts with state of Art technology brings upper Assam170 Km closer to Delhi. It is situated in an earthquake-prone area so, it is India’s first bridge to have fully welded steel-concrete support beams that can withstand earthquakes of magnitudes up to 7 on the Richter scale. It is Asia’s second longest rail-cum-road bridge.

Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of signaling and telecommunication equipment with panel interlocking(Route setting type) at 12 stations and alteration in Raichur station in connection with doubling work in RC-GTL section of South Central Railway. Value around Rs.150. Crore. The some of the works successfully completed and got its credentials for the following works :

Completed the work in a record time at several works India Siliguri Junction-extension of DEMU shed (25 m x23.90 m) by PEB system with load carrying capacity of the shed to run 2 nos 15 MT EOT crane at L.R.bay including stilonite, Epoxy flooring, construction of office building washable apron, boundary wall, overhead water reservoir with deep tube well , stabling lines, track linking and all other ancillary work Rs12,66,90,154.56.

Construction of new BG line Between Bidar-Gulburga-earth work in formation , construction of minor bridges, and execution of miscellaneous works from ch.70100 m to Ch 65300 between Nawadgi and Margutti stations for Rs.34,37,80,514.64 paise.

Signalling arrangements in connection with provision of AFTC in lieumof conventional DCTC in PY-ABU section of Chennai Division.
